Police arrive at Arvind Kejriwal’s house to again serve notice over ‘poaching of MLAs’ remark

New Delhi: The Delhi Police Crime Branch revisited Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence today to issue him a notice.

Earlier, the AAP had accused the BJP of attempting to influence Aam Aadmi Party MLAs through illicit means. On Friday, Crime Branch teams had visited Kejriwal’s and Delhi Minister Atishi’s residences to deliver notices.

As per a media report, Arvind Kejriwal’s residence declined to accept the notice, and Atishi was not present. Today, the police have once again approached Arvind Kejriwal’s house.

Sources indicate that the Crime Branch aimed to personally deliver the notice to the Delhi Chief Minister.

The Delhi BJP had filed a complaint with Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora regarding the Aam Aadmi Party leaders’ alleged attempts to buy MLAs.

Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva said, “We asserted that Kejriwal is making baseless allegations. The truth behind Kejriwal’s falsehoods is about to be revealed. He cannot make false claims and evade investigation.”
