Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Secretary Anurag Verma sent a letter on Saturday to Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal, requesting the transfer of a Punjab farmer currently receiving treatment in Rohtak.
In the letter, Verma noted that Pritpal Singh, a farmer from Punjab injured during the ‘Delhi Chalo’ march, is undergoing treatment at PGI Rohtak. “You are requested to transfer Pritpal Singh to Punjab authorities so that he can receive free treatment provided by the Punjab government,” the letter stated.
