JAKHAR CHAIRS STATE ELECTION COMMITTEE MEET, OVER 230 APPLICATIONS RECEIVED FOR 13 LOK SABHA CANDIDATES

Punjab News: To review preparedness for ensuing Lok Sabha Polls, the Punjab State BJP President Sunil Jakhar presided over the meeting of the State Election Committee here earlier in the day. Former Gujarat Chief Minister and State BJP In-charge Vijay Rupani was present during the meeting as the special invitee.

      Disclosing the agenda discussed in the meeting, Rupani said as many as 231 applications have been received from aspirants of Lok Sabha tickets. The aspirants are from all sections of society and a lot of youngsters have applied for BJP ticket. The palpable interest towards BJP is natural corollary of hope for safeguarding Punjab’s interests, Jakhar said.

    Expressing confidence, Rupani said people all across the country are waiting to give BJP led NDA a third term to ensure continuity and stability. Rupani said based on central government’s achievements across sectors BJP will win all 13 seats from Punjab.
