Former SAD MLA Pawan Tinu joins AAP, likely to be AAP candidate from Jalandhar

Chandigarh: Senior Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader from Jalandhar and former MLA from the Adampur seat in Jalandhar, Pawan Kumar Tinu, joined the Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday.

Tinu has arrived at the CM House in Chandigarh to formalize his membership with the party, accompanied by his supporters today.

The discussion of Tinu joining AAP has been ongoing for some time. However, just the previous day, he denied these rumors.

Tinu is likely to become AAP’s Lok Sabha candidate from the Jalandhar seat, given his strong influence over Dalit votes in the region.
