Iran attacks Israel, fires more than 300 drones and missiles

New Delhi: In a sudden move, Iran attacked Israel early this morning and fired hundreds of drones, ballistic missiles and cruise missiles at it.

An army spokesman said more than 300 drones and missiles were fired, 99 per cent of which were destroyed in the air. Iran’s attack has pushed the Middle East to the brink of a regional war. Sirens are heard everywhere in Israel after the attack.

He vowed revenge after two Iranian generals were killed in an airstrike in Syria on April 1 at the Iranian embassy. Iran has accused Israel of being behind the attack. However, Israel did not respond to a request for comment. Countries like the United States, the United Nations, France, Britain, etc. have condemned Iran’s attack on Israel.

US President Joe Biden has called a meeting of G7 leaders to discuss the situation and take further action, reiterating america’s “strong commitment” to Israel.

An Israeli military spokesman said more than 300 drones and missiles were fired, 99 percent of which were destroyed in the air. “We’ve helped Israel shoot down almost all of the drones and missiles,” Biden said.
