Seven students commit suicide in Telangana within 48 hours of declaration of results

Hyderabad: Seven intermediate students allegedly committed suicide in Telangana after failing in the examination within 48 hours of the declaration of results. The Telangana Board of Intermediate examinations declared the results of the first year and second year on April 24.

Two girls allegedly committed suicide after failing in the exam. In a village in the district, a girl student hanged herself in her house while another jumped into a well.

Similarly, a first-year student allegedly ended his life in sultanbazar police station limits after failing in the examinations. The boy, a resident of Nalkunta area of the city, was found dead at Jadcherla near the railway track.

Three intermediate first year students are suspected to have committed suicide at different places due to failure in examinations.
