Two CRPF personnel killed, several injured in Manipur attack by alleged Kuki militants

Naransena: Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers were killed and several others injured in an attack by alleged Kuki militants in Manipur’s Naransena area around midnight, officials said on Saturday.

The soldiers belong to the 128th battalion of the CRPF deployed in Naransena area of Bishnupur district of the state.

Manipur Police gave information about this attack and said that the attack took place at midnight. Pertinently, voting for the Lok Sabha elections was held in Manipur on Friday. The attack came hours after voting ended.
