SC bench rises without order on Arvind Kejriwal’s interim bail

New Delhi: The Supreme Court bench on Tuesday rose without pronouncing order on grant of interim bail on Arvind Kejriwal’s plea challenging the arrest of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case related to the Delhi excise policy.

At present, the Supreme Court did not say anything on interim bail, without saying anything, the bench got up and did not order interim bail at the moment.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday asked several important questions to the Enforcement Directorate while hearing Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s plea against his arrest in the alleged liquor policy scam.

The Supreme Court questioned the ED on the delay in the investigation why the witnesses, the accused in the Delhi excise policy case were not asked directly relevant questions.

The court questioned the timing taken by the ED in the investigation and said it took two years to bring things to light.
