Primary school teacher murdered in Sangrur

Chandigarh: Sahib Singh, a teacher was killed by unidentified persons in Sherpur, Sangrur and thrown on the side of the drain this morning.

Rajwinder Singh, centre head teacher of Government Primary School, Wajidpur Badhesha, said he was informed about the incident by MGNREGA workers, who immediately informed the Sherpur police.

The cause of the murder is yet to be ascertained but there is a lot of anger among the teachers of the area against it. The deceased is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
