Two Haryanvi brothers arrested for killing Indian student in Australia

Melbourne: Australian police have arrested two Indian-origin brothers wanted in connection with the murder of a 22-year-old M.Tech student from India.

The duo is accused of stabbing Navjit Sandhu, a resident of Karnal in Haryana, to death. The accused, Abhijeet A, 26, and Robin Garten, 27, were arrested on Tuesday in the city of Goulburn, New South Wales, and police are preparing to extradite them to Victoria.

Both of them also belong to Haryana. The two brothers were on the run after navjit Sandhu, a resident of Noble Park, was murdered at his home in Ormond, southeast of Melbourne, late on Saturday night.

A 30-year-old man was also injured in the incident.
