Toronto: Kuljit Singh, a young man from Bijalpur village near Bhawanigarh, has brought laurels to his parents, village and locality by joining the Canadian Police.
Disclosing this here today, Kuljit Singh’s father Darshan Singh, former Sarpanch Bijalpur and mother Harbans Kaur said that Kuljit Singh was very fond of playing sports, especially Kabaddi, since childhood.
He moved to Canada in 2018 on a study basis. There he continued to participate in sports even during his studies. Being a sportsperson, he got a job in the police.
The parents said that two days ago, he joined his duty in the city of Leth Bridge, Canada, after training. His parents said that while they were happy, they were also sad that if the government had given him a job here, he would not have had to go out.
