54.98 % voting recorded in Jalandhar West bypolls

Jalandhar News: District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal today said that 54.98 % percent voter turnout was recorded in the bypolls of Jalandhar West Parliamentary Constituency on July 10, 2024.

Dr. Aggarwal stated that the bypolls were conducted peacefully with no incidents of violence during the voting process.

He further informed that the counting of votes is scheduled for July 13, 2024, starting at 8 am at Lyallpur Khalsa College for Women.

He extended his gratitude to all voters, election staff, and security forces for ensuring the smooth and successful completion of the entire polling procedure in the constituency.
