Pulwama attack convict dies of heart attack

New Delhi: A 32-year-old man, who was chargesheeted in the deadly terror attack on a CRPF convoy in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district five years ago, died of a heart attack at the Government Medical College Hospital here, police said on Sunday.

Bilal Ahmad Kuche, a resident of Hajibal village in Kakapora, was among the 19 people formally charged in the case.

On February 14, 2019, 40 CRPF personnel were killed and eight others injured when a Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist rammed his explosives-laden car into a convoy at Lethpora in Pulwama.
