Two brothers shot in Canada; one dead, another critically injured
Toronto: Two brothers from Punjab were attacked by unidentified assailants in Brampton, Canada, leaving one dead and the other critically injured.
Pritpal Singh (22) was shot dead outside his rented house, while his elder brother, Khushwantpal Singh, sustained serious injuries and is currently hospitalized. The incident occurred while Pritpal was clearing snow from his car.
Their father, Sarabjit Singh, a farmer from Naushera Pannuan near Nandpur, India, revealed that the owner of the house had recently received a ransom call, prompting him to vacate the premises. Authorities in Canada are investigating the motive behind the attack.
