Narco-terror module busted in Amritsar
Chandigarh: Amritsar’s State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) has dismantled a narco-terror module allegedly operated by handlers based abroad. Two individuals, Gurjeet Singh of Dande village, Amritsar Rural, and Baljit Singh of Chhapa village, Tarn Taran, have been arrested in connection with the case.
The arrested suspects were involved in a grenade attack on the Islamabad Police Station on December 17, 2024. Authorities have seized 1.4 kilograms of heroin, a hand grenade, and two pistols during the operation.
Investigations are underway to trace the module’s entire network and its international links.
