SSF personnel Harshvir Singh succumbs to injuries after road accident

Chandigarh: Harshvir Singh, a Road Safety Force (SSF) personnel who was critically injured in a road accident two days ago, passed away late last night at PGI Chandigarh. He was the only son of his parents.

The incident occurred on the intervening night of January 8 and 9, when a Swift car collided with an SSF vehicle on duty. The collision caused both vehicles to overturn, leaving Harshvir Singh seriously injured.

He was rushed to PGI Chandigarh due to his critical condition but succumbed to his injuries despite medical efforts.

The news of his death has cast a pall of gloom over the Bhawanigarh area, leaving the community in mourning.
