Sub Registrars resume duties in Jalandhar to ensure dmooth property registrations
Jalandhar News: After strict directions from the Punjab Government, Sub Registrars in Jalandhar district have resumed their duties on Tuesday, ensuring the smooth conduct of property registrations at Tehsils. The move aims to ensure streamline public services at Sub Registrar Offices.
Punjab Horticulture and Defence Welfare Minister Mohinder Bhagat, Chairperson Jalandhar Improvement Trust Rajwinder Kaur Thiara, and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal, today inspected Sub Registrar offices at the District Administrative Complex. They commended the revenue officers for rejoining their duties and emphasized the government’s commitment to providing hassle-free citizen services.
Officials highlighted that property registration services have resumed in full swing, ensuring that the public does not face unnecessary delays. They also directed Sub Registrars to dedicate extra time at Tehsil offices to clear the backlog created due to the strike of revenue officers.
Reiterating the government’s pro-people approach, the Minister, the Chairperson, and the DC stressed that public convenience remains a top priority. They assured citizens that all necessary measures would be taken to facilitate property registrations efficiently.
People were urged to visit their respective Tehsil offices for registration-related work without hesitation, as the government remains committed to delivering seamless and transparent services.
