PM Modi cuts short Saudi visit after Pahalgam terror attack

Jeddah: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to cut short his two-day visit to Saudi Arabia and return to India following a terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on Monday evening that left 26 people dead.

Official sources said Modi skipped the dinner hosted by Saudi Arabia and will now depart for India on Tuesday night, a day earlier than scheduled.

The attack in Pahalgam, which claimed several civilian lives, has prompted the Prime Minister to review the situation back home.
