Akal Takht Jathedar condemns Pahalgam terror attack
Amritsar: Acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, has strongly condemned the recent attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives.
In a statement, he prayed to Akal Purakh for peace to the departed souls and strength for their families to accept the tragedy as “Waheguru’s bhaana”. He also urged for peace and harmony to prevail across the country and the world, and called for an end to such inhuman acts.
Jathedar Gargaj said the incident has caused immense pain and reminded him of the Chittisinghpura massacre in March 2000, where 35 Sikhs were killed in Kashmir.
He noted that the truth behind that incident is yet to emerge and called for justice for both the Pahalgam victims and the families affected by the Chittisinghpura massacreAmritsar: Acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, has strongly condemned the recent attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives.
