NIA raids hotel owner’s house and business in Ferozepur over suspected Pakistan links

Ferozepur: A team from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids on the residence and hotel of a local businessman in Ferozepur earlier this morning. The hotel owner, who had previously traveled to Pakistan, is reportedly under investigation following suspicious activity linked to his return.

Sources indicate that the individual’s residence in Malwal village and his hotel located in the city’s industrial area were searched by NIA officials.

Authorities suspect that after returning from Pakistan, the hotel owner made several phone calls to contacts across the border. It has also been revealed that some of his family members are still residing in Pakistan.

While the raids have sparked significant local interest, officials have refrained from disclosing further details regarding the operation or the nature of the investigation.
