Chandigarh: The Punjab unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed new district in-charges and co-in-charges across the state to strengthen organisational coordination, improve grassroots functioning and ensure more effective implementation of party programmes.
According to a statement issued by the party, the appointments were made by Punjab BJP president Kewal Singh Dhillon.

Amritsar Rural-II: Ranjit Singh Khojewal — In-charge; Manav Taneja — Co-in-charge
Amritsar Urban: Rakesh Rathour — In-charge; Anil Vasudeva — Co-in-charge
Barnala: Nipun Sharma — In-charge; Onkar Singh Sidhu — Co-in-charge
Batala: Ravikaran Singh Kahlon — In-charge; Vijay Sharma — Co-in-charge
Bathinda Rural: Surjit Jiani — In-charge; Rajesh Patel — Co-in-charge
The party said the appointments are aimed at strengthening its organisational structure and improving coordination at the district and grassroots levels.
