Punjab BJP chief Kewal Singh Dhillon wears black turban in protest over Parvinder Singh Jhota murder case

Chandigarh: Punjab BJP president Kewal Singh Dhillon has started wearing a black turban as a mark of protest, pledging to continue until justice is delivered in the alleged murder case of Parvinder Singh Jhota.

Dhillon wore a black turban on Sunday to register his protest against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab. He said he would continue wearing it until justice was secured in the case and appealed to party leaders to adopt the same form of protest.

On Saturday, Dhillon visited Mansa to join the ongoing protest demanding justice for Jhota. During his visit, he appealed to the people of Punjab to express their protest by wearing black turbans and dupattas and displaying black flags until justice is delivered.

The appeal was endorsed by Jhota’s father, Bhim Singh, and members of the congregation participating in the protest.

Dhillon said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would stand firmly with the movement at every level until justice was delivered.
