Shiromani Akali Dal and BSP to contest Jalandhar bypoll together

Punjab News: Shiromani Akali Dal’s core committee meeting was held today and in this meeting, many important issues were discussed along with the Jalandhar by-election.

After the core committee meeting, senior SAD leader Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, addressing a press conference, said that in the core committee meeting, the by-election of Jalandhar was discussed. It was also decided that the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) would contest the Jalandhar by-election together. It has also been decided that Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal will announce the candidate.
