POWER MINISTER HANDS OVER CHEQUE WORTH RS.5 LAKH TO KIN OF EMPLOYEE LOST LIFE IN LINE OF DUTY
Punjab News: Punjab Power Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO handed over a cheque worth Rs.5 lakh to the family members of Vikas Verma, Complaint Handling Bike (CHB) of PSPCL, who lost his life while performing his duty.
After handing over the cheque of a financial assistance to Mrs. Renu Verma, wife of the deceased and other family members, the Cabinet Minister said that contractual employee Vikas Varma was working in Central Zone Ludhiana, who was died of electrocution on duty in 2018. Thus, the financial assistance has been provided to the family of the deceased employee in a sympathetic gesture.
The Cabinet Minister further said, Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Mann led government was committed to the welfare of its employees and their family members.
