Jalandhar by-election: ‘AAP’ Punjab General Secretary Harchand Singh Barsat appealed to the people to vote for AAP saying revolution comes with votes
Jalandhar: Addressing the media on the last day of the Jalandhar by-election campaign today, AAP Punjab General Secretary Harchand Singh Barsat appealed to the people of Jalandhar to vote as much as possible on May 10 and completely denied the allegations of booth capturing by the opposition. On this occasion, influential AAP leaders Mahinder Bhagat and Lal Bhagat from Jalandhar were also present with him.
In his address, Harchand Barsat said that voting is the right of every citizen and if anyone thinks that his one vote does not make any difference then it is his mistake. He said that every vote is valuable and nowadays revolution can be brought only with votes.
On this occasion, he also denied the allegations of booth capturing being made by the opposition parties. Barsat said that the opponents, seeing their defeat, have now resorted to false propaganda. While the Aam Aadmi Party always contributes for fair elections.
Barsat said that the opposition parties have no real issues hence they resort to false propaganda. While we are appealing to the people to vote on the basis of the works done by the Mann government during the last one year. He mentioned about 30,000 jobs, 600 units of free electricity, crop compensation to farmers, 584 mohalla clinics, medical college, schools of eminence including ex-gratia amount of 1 crore given to martyrs during the last one year.
