PSSC summons Tarn Taran DC over Raja Warring’s remarks

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission (PSSC) has summoned the District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner of Tarn Taran for November 6 after expressing dissatisfaction with the report submitted by the Returning Officer regarding Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring’s remarks on former Union minister late Buta Singh.

Earlier, the PSSC chairman had sought a report from the Election Commission on Warring’s remarks. The Congress leader has also been summoned for November 6. Warring issued an apology for his comments late last night.
