2 terrorists arrested in Amritsar: Police recover 3 hand grenades and Rs 1 lakh cash from Maqboolpura area
Chandigarh: In Amritsar, the local police have succeeded in catching two terrorists with 3 hand grenades. Both these terrorists are residents of Ferozepur and were going towards Pathankot from Amritsar. On the basis of the information, the police succeeded in nabbing both the accused by setting up a naka.
According to the information, Prakash Singh and Angrez Singh, residents of Ferozepur, were going towards Pathankot in a car. Amritsar’s Maqboolpura police received information about this, after which a special naka was set up. Where the accused have been arrested.
Rs 1 lakh also seized from the accused
The police have detained both the accused and started questioning them. Police have recovered three hand grenades, a motorcycle and Rs 1 lakh from the duo. It is reported that these two accused were preparing to pick up the grenade from the location received from Pakistan and deliver it further.
