2100kg poppy husk seized in Barnala: Truck coming from Rajasthan, one held

Chandigarh: Barnala police seized a truck carrying 2100 kg of poppy husk in Punjab’s Barnala. This action has been taken on the basis of information from the CIA wing of Barnala police.

Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav himself has shared this information. The police and the Election Commission have become strict after the recovery of such a huge amount of narcotics during the election days.

DGP Yadav said that this is a big success for the Punjab Police. Barnala police have busted an interstate drug racket. 2100 kg of Doda poppy has been recovered.

Not only this, a person has also been held, who reached Punjab with it. The man has been identified as Vikram Kumar from Sirsa in Haryana.
