ADG jail suspends assistant superintendent in Goindwal jail gang war case
Punjab E News: After the gang war in Goindwal jail, ADGP jail carried out a major operation. During his visit to the jail, ADGP Prisons B Chandrasekhar suspended Assistant Superintendent Harish Kumar.
ADGP Prisons B Chandrashekhar visited Goindwal Sahib and took strong note of the negligence of Jail Superintendent Iqbal Singh Brar in the case of bloody clash between miscreants in the jail. Assistant Jail Superintendent Harish Kumar has been suspended in connection with the case. Jail Superintendent Iqbal Singh Brar was on leave during the bloody clash on Sunday but returned to duty as soon as the incident was reported.
An FIR has been registered by the police in connection with the case. There have been big revelations.
The names of seven gangsters have surfaced in the FIR. These include Manpreet Bhau, Sachin Bhiwani, Ankit Lati, Kashish, Rajinder Joker, Arshad Khan and Malkit Singh Mama.
At the same time, the FIR there was a clash between the inmates of Block 1 and Block 2 in the jail. In this, the prisoners of Block 2 had attacked earlier. Block 2 included Manmohan Mohana and Mandeep Toofan. They had first attacked with iron leaves, after which the rival gang snatched the iron leaves from them and attacked them. Manmohan Mohana and Mandeep Toofan were killed and Manpreet Bhau, Arshad Khan and Keshav were injured in the attack.
