Amritsar: 2 Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists arrested in Punjab: 2 IEDs, 2 hand grenades found

Amritsar News: A major attempt to terrorise Punjab during festivals has been foiled as Punjab Police arrested two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists. Arms and ammunition have also been recovered from both of them.
Punjab Police DGP Gaurav Yadav said that the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) Amritsar has carried out this operation in which intelligence agencies gave input and support. 
After the input, during the raid, 2 terrorists of Jammu and Kashmir were caught. It was clear in the interrogation that after drowning the state in intoxication, Pakistan now wants to spread terror in Punjab in collaboration with Lashkar.
       Firdous Ahmad Bhat runs the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror outfit whose two associates were arrested. At his behest, plans were made to shake Punjab in the festive season. For which two time bomb-making materials, two hand grenades and pistols were arranged. That is, plans were underway to carry out 4 terrorist incidents in Punjab in the coming days.
      The team of SSOC Amritsar has started interrogating the terrorists by arresting them. Soon the accused will be presented in the court. Police have seized 2 IEDs, 2 hand grenades, 1 pistol with 2 magazines, 24 cartridges, 1 timer switch, 8 detonators and 4 batteries from the accused.
