Amritsar Blast: Third blast in five days near Sri Harmandir Sahib, police arrest 5 personnel
AMRITSAR NEWS: Another explosion took place late last night near Sri Harmandir Sahib in the local town. Teams of police and forensic experts rushed to the spot after receiving information about the blast near the Golden Temple in Amritsar between 12-12.30 am last night.
“Evidence is being collected for clues and there is no possibility of anyone being injured in the blast,” police said. The blast took place near Sri Guru Ramdas Sarai, about two kilometres from the earlier blast.
This is the third bomb blast in five days near the Golden Temple in Amritsar. The first blast took place on May 6 on the heritage road leading to the Golden Temple. Then on May 8, there was another explosion at the same place, in which one person suffered minor injuries.
