Amritsar man arrested for spying, sharing confidential information to passing Pakistan 

Amritsar News: A man, identified as Deep Singh, a resident of Bhalla Colony in Chheharta, was apprehended by the Maqboolpura police station in Amritsar for transmitting confidential information of the country to Pakistan. The police seized a mobile phone from the possession of the accused.
     Sub-Inspector Paramjit Singh of Maqboolpura police station stated that they had received information indicating that the accused was sharing sensitive intelligence about the country with individuals in Pakistan. Notably, Deep Singh had connections with Pakistani smugglers and the Pakistan Intelligence agency, ISI.
      The investigating officer further revealed that during the police inquiry, it became evident that he had associations with various individuals, including smugglers based in Pakistan. The police detained Deep Singh, residing in Bhalla Colony on Sher Shah Suri Road in Chheharta, and obtained contact numbers of several individuals in the neighboring country from the phone seized from him. The accused had been sharing vital information related to the Indian Army with specific individuals in Pakistan.
