Bihar journalist murder case: 4 arrested

New Delhi: The Bihar Police has arrested four persons in connection with the shooting of a local journalist in Araria district of the state. A search is on for two more accused in the case, police said. The incident took place in Raniganj market area on Thursday.
     Chief Minister Nitish Kumar described it as a tragic incident and said that as soon as he heard the news, he immediately directed officials to investigate the crime.
35-year-old Vimal Kumar Yadav used to work for a Hindi daily newspaper. He was murdered at his residence in Premnagar village.
     “The assailants knocked on the door of Yadav’s house at around 5.30 am and as soon as he opened the door, they started firing. Yadav died on the spot, where the district police chief and the in-charge of the concerned police station Raniganj rushed to the spot.”
