Case registered against MLA’s son for allegedly pushing singer Sonu Nigam in Mumbai

New Delhi: A case has been registered against the MLA’s son for allegedly pushing popular singer Sonu Nigam and assaulting two of his colleagues while taking a selfie at a concert in Mumbai. One of his colleagues was injured in the incident that took place after the corporation’s live demonstration at Chembur Gymkhana on Monday.

Later, a video of the incident surfaced on social media. Based on a complaint received from the corporation, the Chembur police registered an FIR against Swapnil Fattarpekar, son of local Shiv Sena MLA Prakash Phattarpekar, under sections 323, 341 and 337 of the Indian Penal Code.
