Congress MLA Sukhpal Khaira arrested from Chandigarh by Punjab police
Chandigarh News: Senior Congress leader and MLA, Sukhpal Singh Khaira, has been arrested by the Punjab Police this morning.
He was arrested at his Chandigarh residence in connection with an old NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) case.
The arrest took place during a 6 a.m. raid conducted by the Jalalabad police at Sukhpal Singh Khaira’s residence. During the arrest, Sukhpal Singh Khaira reportedly questioned the police officers about the specific case for which he was being arrested.
