DGP Gaurav Yadav on Shiv Sena leader’s murder

DGP Gaurav Yadav held a press conference today over the murder of Shiv Sena leader in Amritsar. 

“Shiv Sena leader Sudhir Suri was sitting on a dharna over the Gopal temple dispute. During this time, the accused Sandeep Sunny shot Sudhir Suri with his licensed .32 bore pistol.” 

The DGP said that the attacker has a garment shop near the temple. We have arrested the accused with the weapon. We are investigating the matter seriously, the situation in Amritsar is under control. DGP Punjab has also appealed to the people not to spread any false rumors on social media and not to spoil the atmosphere of Punjab.
