Drugs smuggling to foreign via courier from Punjab, three held

Jalandhar: Three drug peddlers were arrested by the Jalandhar city police for allegedly supplying drugs to foreign countries through courier services, an official said on Wednesday. Police have recovered a courier, in which about 5 kg of opium was found. The operation was carried out under the supervision of CIA staff in-charge of Jalandhar City, Surinder Singh Kamboj.

DGP Gaurav Yadav said that teams of CIA staff of Jalandhar City have taken the said action. In which the police busted the international drug cartel. The drug cartel was run by several drug smugglers in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia.
