Former Deputy CM OP Soni sent to 14-day judicial custody by Amritsar court today

Punjab E News: Former Punjab deputy chief minister OP Soni was being questioned continuously by vigilance teams at the Civil Line police station in Amritsar for the last two days. Soni was arrested by vigilance last week for amassing wealth disproportionate to his sources of income, but he could not be questioned due to his ill health.
The hearing ended today and the court sent Soni to judicial custody after today’s appearance.
