Jalandhar West MLA Angural’s close aide Mukesh Sethi arrested for trying to abduct and murder youth
Jalandhar News: AAP leader Mukesh Sethi, considered close to MLA Sheetal Angural from Jalandhar’s West constituency, has been arrested by the police. The case has been registered at division number 6 police station. The police have imposed various sections including assault. On Saturday, the police rounded up Mukesh in the morning.
Station House Officer (SHO) of Police Station-6, Ajaib Singh, said that the accused had tried to kidnap the youth and kill him. The police have registered a case of attempt to murder, kidnapping and under the Arms Act.
Last day, a young man living in Govindgarh Mohalla was held hostage and assaulted. In which the young man was seriously injured. He is being treated at a private hospital. The injured youth did not report the matter to the police out of fear. But when the matter came to the notice of the commissionerate police officials, they sent officers to record the statement of the young man and registered a case, police said.
