Man shot dead in Ferozepur over suspicion of illicit relationship

Ferozepur: A young man was shot dead in village Dulla Singh Wala, falling under the jurisdiction of the Mallawala police station. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police promptly arrived at the scene, took possession of the body, and initiated an investigation.

According to reports, the deceased, Satnam Singh, a resident of Kamla Middu village in Dula Singh Wala, allegedly entered the house of Bachtir Singh. Upon learning of Satnam Singh’s presence in his house, Bachtir Singh shot and killed him with his rifle.

Upon receiving information about the incident, DSP Balkar Singh from the Zira area and SHO Balraj Singh from Mallawala, along with a police team, rushed to the scene.

The police took possession of the body and commenced their investigation. DSP Balkar Singh stated that the incident appears to be related to illicit relations and assured that the case is currently under close investigation.
