NIA cracks down on PFI: raids at over a dozen locations in UP, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Delhi

New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has raided dozens of places in the country, taking action against the banned organization PFI. 
It also includes states like Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Delhi.
     The PFI was banned under the anti-terror Unlawful Activities Act (UAPA) last year. 
      A news agency has quoted sources as saying that these raids have been done under case number 31/2022. The case pertains to the involvement of PFI, its leaders and cadres in violent and unlawful activities. All the accused in the case had gathered in Phulwari Sharif area of Patna for the purpose of violent and unlawful activities, the media report said.
