People attacked, vandalized the house of the accused of sacrilege in Morinda 

Mohali News: After the incident of sacrilege at Gurdwara Sri Kotwali Sahib in Morinda, Punjab, angry people attacked the house of accused Jasvir Singh. People broke the glass panes of the house and also vandalized the inside. 

During this time no family member of the accused was present in the house. Soon after the incident, police were deployed outside the house.
Jasvir Singh works as an electrician in Morinda. Police have registered a case against Jasvir Singh under sections 307 (attempt to murder), 323 (causing hurt), 506 (criminal intimidation).
Sri Akal Takht Sahib Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh has strongly condemned the incident of sacrilege in Morinda. 
He said that strict punishment should be given to the guilty in this case so that no one tries to commit such an incident in future. Giani Harpreet Singh also described the desecration of Gutka Sahib in Village Golewal of Faridkot as a conspiracy to affect the peaceful atmosphere of Punjab.
