Police registered case against construction company after death of worker at Delhi-Amritsar Katra Expressway site
Jalandhar News: The Kartarpur police have registered a case against the company constructing the highway in connection with the death of Suresh Kumar after he was buried under the soil in a borewell being constructed to build a bridge on the Delhi-Katra Expressway near here. The action has been taken on the statement given by Satyawan son of Duli Chand, brother of deceased Suresh Kumar, resident of Karsola police station Julana district Jind Haryana.
In the complaint, they have levelled serious allegations against MKC Infrastructure Limited Company and Balaji Corporation Company Jaipur. On the basis of the statements, the police have registered a case under section 304 IPC and handed over the body to the family after conducting a post-mortem of the deceased Suresh Kumar.
Police station in-charge Inspector Ramandeep said that case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
