Three arrested for allegedly molesting woman and parading her on road in semi-naked state

Chandigarh: Three persons have been arrested for allegedly molesting a woman and parading her semi-naked on the streets in Punjab’s Tarn Taran, police said on Saturday.

In the case, Tarn Taran SSP Ashwani Kapoor said that the victim’s son fell in love with a girl and married her in court.

At the youth’s house, there was a heated argument between them and a scuffle broke out between the two sides, during which the boy’s mother’s clothes were torn. The main accused Gursharan, the girl’s brother, made a video of the woman.

The case was expected to settle in the house a few days before filing the complaint. But as soon as the FIR was registered, the accused made the video viral on social media.

Police teams formed and arrested the accused from Amritsar bus stand. According to the information, They were trying to escape from the state.
