28-year-old man from Ludhiana shot dead in Surrey, Canada

Toronto: Yuvraj Goyal (28), a young man from Ludhiana, was shot dead in Surrey, British Columbia, on June 7.

According to some family friends, Canadian police have described it as a case of ‘mistaken identity.’ Yuvraj was talking to his mother on the phone while returning from the gym.

As soon as he reached the parking lot of his house, he disconnected the call. According to the police, shortly after, someone pointed to the building and asked if he lived there. As soon as he said ‘yes,’ he was shot six times.

Yuvraj died on the spot. Police officials claimed that the recording of Yuvraj’s phone was ongoing at the time of the incident, which provided information about the conversation on the spot.
