35 killed in Nepal plane crash, PM Dahal calls emergency meeting

New Delhi: The airport authority has claimed that the plane crash was not due to bad weather but due to a technical fault. The pilot had obtained landing permission from the ATC and plane was also asked to land from Pokhara ATC. The Civil Aviation Authority says that flames appeared in the plane just before landing, so the accident could not be said due to bad weather.

According to an airport authority official, there were five Indians on board the Yeti Airlines plane that crashed in Nepal. Apart from this, 4 Russians, 2 South Koreans, 1 Argentinian, 1 Australian, 1 French and 1 Irish citizen were on board.
