Anju, who is married to her friend in Pakistan, to return home
Punjab E News: The 34-year-old Indian mother of two, who had gone to a remote village in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to marry her Facebook friend, will return to India after receiving approval from the Pakistan government. Her Pakistani husband provided this information. In August, Pakistan extended Anju’s visa for one year. Her name was changed to Fatima, and she converted to Islam, marrying Nasrullah.
“We are waiting for a no-objection certificate from the Interior Ministry in Islamabad, for which we have already applied. As soon as the documents are ready, Anju will go to India,” he said.
She said she will return to Pakistan after reuniting with her children in India since Pakistan is now her home. Anju was previously married to Arvind, a resident of Rajasthan. They have a 15-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son.
