British MP Tanmanjeet Dhesi stopped at Amritsar airport for two hours
Amritsar News: Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi, England’s first turbaned MP, was detained for nearly two hours by immigration officials at the Sri Guru Ram Dass Ji International Airport in Rajashasi here due to lack of documents and allowed to go after completion of documents.
According to sources, he arrived in Amritsar from England on an Air India flight this morning but was stopped at the airport by immigration officials due to lack of documents here. Two hours later, when the documents were completed, he came out of the airport and left for his journey.
