Delhi-US plane makes emergency landing in Russia due to technical snag

Washington: An Air India flight from Delhi to San Francisco made an emergency landing at an international airport in Russia around midnight due to a technical snag, Air India officials said.

There were 225 passengers on board the Boeing 777 aircraft and 19 crew members were involved. “We are working closely with the relevant authorities,” the airline said.
