Dubai comes to a standstill after heavy rains, all airport-station and roads closed

New Delhi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and its surrounding countries received heavy rains on Tuesday. The rain was so heavy that flood-like conditions arose in many places.

Heavy rains caused parts of major highways in the UAE to be flooded and vehicles were seen submerged in water across Dubai.

In addition, due to heavy rains, the UAE administration requested people to stay indoors on Tuesday. Schools conducted classes online. Government employees were also asked to work from home.
